Cougar (Felis concolor)


Length: 3.25 to 5.25 feet

Weight: 136 lbs

Food: small mammals and birds

Habitat: Forest, Mountains, Riversides,

Voice: raspy screech, growl or snuffling sound

Life span: 8-13 years 

Extras: The cougar is endangered! It is also called a Puma, Mountain Lion, and Catamount.

  1. Also it has 40 other names I think. The Eastern Cougar (Puma concolor cougar) which is a subspecies of the Cougar is now extinct. And it says here the Scientific Name is Puma concolor.
    It can jump as far as the long ways of a school bus. Also, apparently they mostly feed on deer and such, they are ambush predators
